Join us for one or more sessions of Delta’s Youth Activism training!
At Delta’s VIRTUAL Youth Activism Training:
- Get to know other DHS & HPHS students.
- Find out more about Delta, share your ideas & get involved.
- Win prizes during interactive, fun activities that test your knowledge.
- Gain skills to become a youth activist and influence all kinds of change.
- Explore the latest on how alcohol, marijuana & vaping impact teens.
- Gain experience helpful for future careers. Great for students looking to go into politics, healthcare, education/teaching, social work, counseling, community organizing, or leadership positions.
Extra Incentives:
- In each session, 3 Starbucks gift cards will be awarded as prizes
- Attend 2 sessions and get a new Delta t-shirt
- Attend 4 sessions and get a Patterns Adult Stress Relieving Coloring Set
- Attend all 6 sessions for an official “Certificate of Youth Activism” from LEAD and CTAD - Great for college applications!
Details & Registration:
- There are six sessions of about 45 minutes each.
- Sessions are 7 pm Thursdays, Sept 17 – Oct 22.
- Use the registration form below to sign up for the sessions you want to attend. We understand if something last minute comes up.
- If you are under 18, be ready for a parent/guardian to sign a permission form on the last page.
- We’ll email you the zoom link and reminders, plus and a Flipgrid link where you can get to know Delta members and introduce yourself.
