While most DHS & HPHS students choose to be alcohol-free, those who do drink or use drugs, say it helps them relax, feel better about themselves, or fit in. Parents and the adults in whom our kids confide can help them realize drinking is an unhealthy coping strategy by offering healthy alternatives.
