“My social media accounts are always private. I only allow the people I know to see my posts and am cautious about who I speak to online. While I have never been the victim of cyberbullying, I’ve witnessed it several times and do what I can to get disrespectful, mean posts removed. I encourage others (and myself) to think before posting. Once it is out there, it is out there for everyone to see.”

“The internet has some awesome resources, but it can also be pretty perilous. I keep myself safe by unfollowing or removing less trustworthy accounts or channels from my feed and by avoiding making public comments. I also try to keep an eye on my time so that I don’t get pulled too far down the rabbit hole!”
